With his vast knowledge of early jazz, and his mastery of almost any instrument with strings, Spats brings his quartet for their umpteenth visit. Such is their popularity, that a glance at their gig list is almost like an itinerary for a tour of Britain. An educational and hugely entertaining evening, with the added bonus of the delightful voice of the ‘Cotswold Nightingale’.
