This is by far the most local group we have ever had, and one making their first visit.
We first encountered Bollington resident Darren, when he and his group played at Pott Shrigley Church before the pandemic, then saw them again earlier this year, same venue, for the Vicar’s farewell ‘Do’.
We were so impressed that we made contact and booked them.
Darren’s superb trumpet will lead the band into his Louis Armstrong inspired take on the great American songbook, interspersed with some Latin American numbers and some of his own compositions.
Then, for an absolute first, some of the audience will have further to travel home than Darren!

Bollington Jazz Club tickets are £12 ONLY from 01625 574410. Theatre-style seating, bar with “Bollington Brewing” real ale on draught and wine sold by the bottle or glass.
Doors and bar from 6.30pm, shows from 7.30pm to 10.00pm.
All profits from these events go to Bollington Arts Centre.
